YOUTH OF AMERICA WEEK
The NFL Alumni Georgia would like to thank the students, faculty, administrators and staff of Towers High School in Decatur, GA for hosting a memorable Youth of America Day.
NFL Alumni Georgia Members talking to a full auditorium consisting of several separate classes included Georgia Chapter President Andrew Bolton, Chapter Vice President Dan Benish, and members Stefon Adams and Buddy Curry.
The presentation themes included Motivation & Inspiration, Non-Player Employment opportunities in the NFL, the NFL Alumni and Sports Health.
The Georgia Chapter teamed with the Gwinnett Concussion Center’s mobile concussion baseline testing and education center.
Youth of America Week is a coordinated effort of NFL Alumni chapters to participate together in youth-related community service activities. Congressman and NFL alumnus Jack Kemp introduced the Youth of America resolution that was signed by President Ronald Reagan in 1983.
Youth of America Week is a large part of the NFL Alumni’s “Caring For Kids” mission.
